Carlene Mixon — Owner and Manager
With a background in marketing and event planning, Carlene started A CLEAN GETAWAY Maid & Janitorial Service in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina. In addition to marketing, she provides service estimates; personally trains each member of our cleaning team; and provides quality assurance.
She has three children — a son, serving in the US Navy, and daughter in law living in San Diego, CA and two daughters and sons-in-law living in the greater NOLA area. Her first grandbaby arrived in July!
Ed Huber — Financial Manager
Having semi retired from the insurance industry, father came to daughter's rescue when Carlene decided to start a business. Ed oversees all of the daily financial operations. You will occasionally see him out and about giving customer quotes but he is mostly behind the scenes making sure the company runs like clockwork.
Ed is married to Norma and between them they have 8 children and more grandchildren and great grandchildren than the law should allow!
Anita Bush — Office Manager
Anita started as Ed's secretary in his insurance business. As A CLEAN GETAWAY started to grow, Carlene stole her away and now she is in the office keeping everyone in line! Anita's professional experience includes 18 years with Ryder Truck Rental where she was responsible for scheduling, dispatching and collections. That experience is what makes her such an integral part of our business.
Anita has 3 children and 8 grandchildren that keep her hopping!
